100 Miles

Today I completed my mission to log 100 miles running before the birth of Baby Kane. AKA - Baby-thon 2008. This is significant for me because I run, but I'm not "runner". I'm not one of those lanky guys with freakishly big calves who can bang out a half marathon without breaking a sweat. My form is terrible. Ever see that episode of Friends where Phoebe was running in the park? I'm kind of like that. I didn't sprint though the tape at the end of my mission. After two days of waterskiing, it was more like me dragging my ass across the line. BUT...my hot Wife joined me on my last day at the track so I did get to share the moment with her and the Belly which was pretty cool. However, when I saw her holding her belly as I started my last half mile I thought, "Shit, I'd better run faster..." Anyway, on to the next challenge. Maybe I'll take up swimming.
